Workday begins at 7:00 am and ends from 4-6 pm. This is service work; we will be in homes and meeting with homeowners. So, good people skills are a must. Job Description: Customer Service Representative (CSR) (Currently not hiring for this position.) 

As a Power Plus Electrical Service  CSR, you will answer inbound calls, place outbound calls, and perform general administrative tasks and dispatching technicians. The nature of calls you'll take and make will vary, but may include:

  • Appointment setting
  • Pre-sales
  • Surveys
  • Confirmation calls
  • Callbacks

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple incoming calls
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using our methods/tools
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions, alternatives and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Keep records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.

Requirements

  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High school degree
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must live in the Asheville, NC area
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of the electrical trade is helpful
